So, what's the 411?
The quintessential, yet absolutely unnecessary about page - hopefully short and sweet.
I am an Information Developer by trade - that is, I absolutely love turning ordinary, underachieving, or downright beige products, companies, or brands into visual poetry. I believe that information should always be a visual experience, and I also believe that poetry in its purest form has no room for wordiness.

I have a background in Engineering, and an English degree (English Literature, and Rhetorical & Professional Writing) from the University of Waterloo. I am currently studying part-time at the Schulich School of Business, York University, pursuing an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management. I am also the Director of Part-time Student Affairs on the Graduate Business Council at Schulich, representing and serving the interests of the part-time student population (50% of the student body).
I am very involved with the student body and do everything I can to promote interaction between part-time students, full-time students, alumni, and the school itself.

I am fortunate enough to have served MDS Sciex, IBM, Palm, Genesis Microchip, Logitech, GTAA, STMicroelectronics, and other reputable firms. I'm currently employed as a Manager of Documentation and Projects for a technical auditing firm in the cable industry - which means I (attempt to) manage any and all information and processes within the firm.

I am also the founder of Visual Poetry, a successful Information Development firm in the GTA that specializes in marketing, branding, design, and documentation. Over the years, I have worked with some really talented marketing analysts, user experience architects, information developers, information architects, graphic designers, and illustrators, and am happy to count many of them as partners who work with me on projects we deem interesting and worthwhile.

And I count myself extremely lucky to have a large, loving family, an incredibly supportive circle of friends, and live an amazingly rewarding life. I absolutely believe in living in the moment - everything I do I must enjoy and love - otherwise, it's just not worth it.

And for those who are interested: I thoroughly love red wine (Hillebrand Trius Grand Red to be exact), walks on the beach (especially in the Caribbean), and romantic, candlelit dinners (it will help your cause if you want to enlist my services).
Cheers,
Keith Loo, Visual Poet
